The landscape within northern namibia allows for a very dense wood to GROW. Our charcoal is born from invasive species and screened to ensure larger pieces of charcoal.
Because of the nature of the wood, the larger chunkier pieces of hardwood charcoal have a lower yield, where we screen larger pieces to fill our bags.
Namibian hardwood, whilst not producing an intense high heat like its counterparts, produces a very long burn time.
